This 5.5" Natural Priscacara serrata Fossil Fish is an authentic specimen from the Eocene age. It was found in the Green River Formation just outside Kemmerer, Wyoming. This fish was prepared by Keely Sweeney at Fossil Oasis and has no enhancements or restoration. Priscacara serrata possessed robust teeth suited for consuming arthropods. Certain specimens show evidence of fish bones in their stomachs or being found with fish in their mouths. P. serrata reached a maximum size of 16 inches and did not exhibit schooling behavior like its smaller, similar-looking counterpart, C. liops.
